Cumulus Consultants is working with the Isle of Man Climate Change Transformation team and other government departments and stakeholders across the Isle of Man to produce a comprehensive Land Management Framework and Carbon Sequestration Plan, in line with the government’s aim of increasing carbon sequestration from land use by 2027 and maximising sequestration and biodiversity improvements by 2050 and beyond.
Cumulus is leading the project with support from Environment Systems, AECOM, Triage and Tautenay to deliver the key outputs: stakeholder engagement, an all-island habitat survey, land management framework, land use scenario modelling, carbon sequestration plan, spatial prioritisation decision support tool (ArcGIS map), plus the test and trial of these outputs.
