Land Management Payment Rate Review and Calculator

The North York Moors National Park Authority has a suite of land management and capital rates that it applies to its own grant schemes. These were last reviewed some time ago, and since then new public and private schemes and payments have been introduced. The aim of this project was to review the Authority’s land management revenue payments (14 options). The work included the collation of up-to-date data and documents, production of a document summarising the aims, prescriptions, management and economic implications for each option, development of Excel-based Payment Rate Calculator to accommodate relevant income foregone plus cost calculations (partial budgets) for each option plus comparables, testing and reporting. The result is a Payment Rate Calculator that is robust/compliant, repeatable and capable of expansion.
