The aims of the project were to: identify good practice in the sector with regards to both sustainability and working towards net zero; develop case studies of good practice; identify where the gaps are that need to be worked on; and develop overarching messaging for the sector on the efforts around sustainability and net zero. The findings from the project will feed into outputs including a proactive comms plan around COP26 which shares sector messages about the efforts to improve sustainability and work towards net zero, and a comms toolkit to support seafood businesses.
