The aim of this project was to quantify dairy farmers’ likely financing needs during the transition period to regenerative dairy farming (‘Fallow years’). It explores the financial support that is already available to support the transition, followed by recommendations on what more could be done by other actors to support dairy farmers going through the transition. This project analyses the transition for three conventional dairy farm types. This project was a collaboration between Cumulus Consultants and the Andersons Centre.
