Ridge to River Landscape Recovery – Nature Market Prospectus

Ridge to River Landscape Recovery is a farmer-led partnership between the Duchy of Cornwall, Moccas Estate, the Woodland Trust and Natural England, focused on restoring a resilient, multi-functional landscape across 3,300 hectares in the Upper Wye Valley between Hay-on-Wye and Hereford. It aims to enhance food production, biodiversity, water protection, climate mitigation and social value through an integrated mosaic of woodlands, parkland, meres, farmland and floodplains. The aim of this project was to provide a Nature Market Prospectus for Ridge to River. The work included researching and analysing existing and potential private sector funding opportunities that will support the delivery of Ridge to River over the longer term, and providing a set of resources for engaging buyers, funders and investors. It will also inform the project’s blended finance plan and business model.
